Joining, matching and introductions are free. Care Start is our team’s help with scheduling, intake forms, coverage details and follow-up through the first weeks of care.

For each commercially insured or cash-pay client

$30 per completed week, for up to four weeks.

  • You or your practice pays. Clients never do.
  • No fee unless a first therapy session is booked.
  • Free for public-program clients, including QUEST, Medicare and TRICARE.

Care Start fees apply only to clients you accept from October 15, 2026. We’ll never bill you retroactively.

Why I built Breakthrough

Finding the right therapist shouldn’t come down to luck.

Breakthrough started with my own search for a therapist in Hawaiʻi.

When I finally found the strength to ask for help, I reached out to 20+ therapists. After more than a week, I got one reply.

I got lucky – that one therapist turned out to be a great fit. Not everyone is as lucky.

Here, fit is local: family, culture, which island, even what high school you went to. A national directory misses all of it.

I built Breakthrough so no one in Hawaiʻi has to get lucky to find a therapist who fits.
